Packaging is something that must be considered carefully. This is because packaging is one of the factors that represent the quality of the product. Therefore, the following will explain the things that need to be considered when packaging the product.

The first thing to note is how important the product needs to be protected. Often the product is received by consumers in a damaged condition. This of course will reduce the reputation of the product. Whereas the products that have been damaged have previously gone through a strict quality control process. This should be minimized as much as possible by the manufacturer. By using packaging to wrap the product, at least producers can minimize damaged products when they are received by consumers.

The second thing that needs to be considered is the knowledge possessed and how competitors move. This knowledge means past experiences with other products. Based on this experience, as far as possible manufacturers can provide the right packaging for their products. In addition, based on competitors' steps, producers can also learn and provide the right packaging when they want to package products. The point is don't forget to study around so that manufacturers can send the best products to consumers.

Third, the thing that needs to be considered is how far the product is in the delivery or distribution process. This must be considered because natural factors cannot be controlled by humans. Moreover, the human error factor is unavoidable which can only be minimized. These two factors must be considered by manufacturers to provide the right packaging for their products so that the product remains in good condition despite facing these two barrier factors.

Fourth, the thing that needs to be considered is do you need a second layer of packaging or only primary packaging? This is intended to facilitate the distribution process of the product. Do some of these products need to be combined into one more package to make it easier to send to consumers or other parties? If the product requires a second layer of packaging, then provide a second layer of packaging. This will later provide efficiency and effectiveness in the production and distribution process. This second layer of packaging can be a cardboard (corrugated box) or a plastic box.
